The annual RCMP Relay for Life head shave and barbecue raised $2,000

RCMP officer Steve Vrolyk and his sons has their heads shave during a Relay for Life fundraiser.

The annual RCMP Relay for Life Head Shave and Barbecue event was held last Wednesday and organizers were happy to report that $2,000 was raised in just two hours. There were a record 30 plus heads shaved. “A huge thank you to the women at the Barbershop on Reid Street for their continued support and participation, to Mr. Mike’s Restaurant and to the RCMP auxiliary members Perkins, Earle and Ribbie for all their help. Your generosity and support are very appreciated,”
