Day two of Billy Barker Days had hundreds of young ones flocking to LeBourdais Park for Kids’ Day.

Tents were set up under which children could have their faces painted, create a craft, get fingerprinted by volunteers from the RCMP, play in sand and water, and try out an obstacle course set up by Quesnel Technics Gymnastics Club.

A guitarist took to the stage to entertain the crowds.

Many youngsters and their families were also enticed to taste some mini donuts from one of the many food vendors in the park, and some made their way over to the amusement park rides to race round the bumper cars track or take a spin on the ferris wheel.

Kids’ Day in the Park runs till 2:30 p.m. July 20.

Pick up the Observer on Wednesday July 25 for more photos from Kids’ Day and all the Billy Barker Days events.
