As Quesnel and District 4-H continues with modifications due to COVID-19, the organization is highlighting its members, who have been working hard all year long. This week’s 4-H Member of the Week is Nova Pollock.

Hi, my name is Nova Pollock. This is my fourth year in the Kersley 4-H Club. This year, my projects are photography for the second year and Breeding Gilt. This is a photo of me with my breeding gilt, Bambi, and her siblings. We raise our own pigs for 4-H, and I really love the Hereford breed of pig for their colour, size and fun/adventurous personalities. Thank you for all your support this year in 4-H, and I look forward to this year’s Show and Sale. My gilt will not be for sale in the Show and Sale, as I will bring her back next year, hopefully as a Sow and Litter!
