PHOTOS: A Halloween Parade in Quesnel

Families dressed up for Sunday, Oct. 31

Halloween was a real treat for Dunrovin Park Lodge residents in Quesnel.

Children and youth showed off their Halloween costumes on Oct. 31 in front of the big windows outside the complex care facility on St. Laurent Avenue.

“Thanks to all our Parade Of Costumes participants outside Dunrovin Park Lodge this afternoon - skeletons, dinosaurs, witches, Cinderella (at least two!), Sleeping Beauty, Tinkerbell, and many many more,” the Rotary Club of Quesnel wrote on Facebook.

“You all brought lots of smiles to the faces of the residents.”

Participants each received a goodie bag at the end of the parade.

Halloween costumes were also shown off at Maeford Place on Kinchant Street. Participants had followed a roped path around the dining room, where residents looked out the windows before receiving bags of candy.
