PHOTOS: South Quesnel Business Association hosts parking lot party

The free-family event was held Saturday, July 9

The Extra Foods parking lot in Quesnel was buzzing with activity late Saturday afternoon (July 9) as the South Quesnel Business Association hosted an outdoor party.

The free activities included a car show, live music by Interstellar Jays, root beer floats, cotton candy, and coffee.

The Kersley Volunteer Fire Department and the North Cariboo Highway Rescue were also on hand for children and families to learn more about what they do and check out some of their life-saving equipment.

After the parking lot party, the South Quesnel Business Association thanked everyone on Facebook for their support and the businesses, organizations, and volunteers who made the day possible.

“The parking lot party was a huge success.”
