The local chapter of the Back Country Horsemen held its Ride for Seniors on Sunday, Nov. 18, with nine riders attending the fundraising event.
Quesnel-based charity Voice for North Cariboo Seniors benefited from the ride, with all cash proceeds and food drive items being donated to the organization, which works to provide food and other items to seniors in need.
Riders donated either cash or food items, and saddled up to head out on the wintry trail in the Bouchie Lake area.
The Back Country Horsemen’s annual food drive for seniors runs until Dec. 24, with drop-off locations at West Quesnel Barber Shop or the Bouchie Lake Country Store.
