Quesnel and District Community Arts Council’s Children’s Concert Committee presents Cinderella by the DuffleBag Theatre but with a little something special before the performance, Feb. 22.

They’re inviting the audience to wear their pajamas and come at 5:30 p.m. for a pizza party, where a slice of pizza is just a Loonie.

The performance begins at 6 p.m. All teddy bears are welcome.

Cinderella is a timeless classic children’s story where Cinderella’s life is storybook perfect – that is, until circumstances force her into a life of drudgery in the home of her wicked stepmother and stepsisters.

But once the handsome Prince Charming decides to hold a Royal Ball at the palace, things just might change for Cinderella, with a little magical help from her Fairy Godmother. And a pumpkin – don’t forget the pumpkin.

Is Cinderella destined for a happily every after? If the shoe fits – literally.

Tickets for this children’s story are $10 each, available at the Arts and Recreation Centre, Circle “S” Western Wear, Bo Peep, Quesnel Music and at the door.

The Feb. 22 pizza party and performance is at the Chuck Mobley Theatre at Correlieu Secondary School.
