The Quesnel and District Museum is hosting a Children’s Fun Day on Saturday, Aug. 11.

The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., will include arts and crafts, an obstacle course and a scavenger hunt around the museum.

Alison Groll is a summer student working at the museum. She says the summer students organized the event, and hopes that if “[the kids] think of [the museum] as a multi-purpose place, [the will be] more willing to come back and show their parents what they’ve seen.”
