Skaters of all ages took to the ice at Quesnel’s Twin Arenas on Dec. 28-29 for the Ice Palace event. The rink was decorated with trees, lights and festive props, and there were stations set up for ice painting, crafts and hockey. Attendees were even treated to a hot chocolate with plenty of marshmallows when fingers and toes began to feel the cold. These three young skaters took a break before deciding to whizz round the ice once again, weaving in and around the holiday decorations.
