Quesnel author signs books in only appearance of 2020

COVID-19 changed L.G.A. McIntyre’s plans to promote her newest novel, but she was happy to meet fans

Quesnel author Linda (L.G.A.) McIntyre published The Prince – The Lies of Lesser Gods – Book Four this spring, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was not able to travel, hold book signings and promote her book like she normally would have.

McIntyre held her only book signing of 2020 Saturday, Dec. 5 at Books and Company in downtown Quesnel, giving her a chance to talk to fans and share this new book and the previous three books in the series from behind a Plexiglas shield.

McIntyre, who grew up in Quesnel and went on to study media arts and communications in Victoria, went on to work in film and television production and now teaches business technology at the College of New Caledonia, published the first book in The Lies of Lesser Gods series, The Exile, in 2013.

McIntyre’s The Lies of Lesser Gods books are available in paperback at Books and Company and Blackbird and Co. Mercantile in Quesnel and as ebooks wherever ebooks are sold. McIntyre has already begun writing the rough draft of The Prince, the next and final book in the action adventure fantasy series, and she says she hopes to complete that book next year.
