Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce manager Kathy Somerville, who is helping organize the event, said the new date for the Tour of Lights drive-thru event is Sunday, Dec. 20.

“I think people may need to be patient in their vehicles,” she said, encouraging people to be patient and kind. “We will try to keep it moving as quickly as we can … the only horn beeping we want to hear is for the efforts the trucks have shown our community.”Over a dozen trucking and local companies have signed up to display during the event.

The Tour of Lights will be active between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., with attendees required to stay inside their vehicles.
