Ashley Furniture HomeStore and City Furniture and Appliances Quesnel donated turkeys, hams and fixings Monday, Dec. 21 to fill in the Salvation Army’s needs for their Christmas Dinner. The Salvation Army said the size of the donation was less than in years past because they received more donations from the general public. Ashley Furniture HomeStore and City Furniture and Appliances Quesnel have been coming together to donate food for the Salvation Army’s Christmas dinner for close to 16 years, and although this year’s dinner will look different due to COVID-19, the stores were able to carry on that tradition.

The two stores donated turkeys, hams and all the fixings to fill in the Salvation Army’s needs for its Christmas dinner Monday, Dec. 23.
