The goal of the campaign is to fill an RCMP cruiser with donations for people in need during the holiday season.

The Quesnel RCMP are hosting their annual Stuff a Cruiser Campaign once again to support local families in need over the Christmas holidays.

On December 7 and 8, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., local Mounties will be set up in the Walmart Parking lot at 890 Rita Road, to accept donations including non-perishable food, unopened toys for children, winter clothing and hygiene products.

The goal of the campaign is to stuff a police cruiser full of donations. The items received will then be provided to local Food Banks, the Senior’s Voice Society, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Quesnel.

"This program has been a big success in past years thanks to the generous people of Quesnel," says Sgt. Clay Kronebusch. "We’re hoping this year will be just as successful in helping out families in need of assistance over the holiday season."

If you cannot attend, and wish to donate before the event, donations will be accepted at the Quesnel RCMP Detachment, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
