The Quesnel RCMP are hosting the annual Stuff A Cruiser Campaign again this year to support local families in need over the Christmas holidays.

On Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3rd and 4th, between the hours of 1o a.m. and 2 p.m., local Mounties will be set up in the Walmart Parking lot at 890 Rita Road, to accept donations including non-perishable food, unopened toys for children between the ages of six and 12, winter clothing and hygiene products.

The goal of the campaign is to stuff a police cruise full of donations. The items received will then be provided to the Quesnel Salvation Army’s Food Bank, the Senior’s Voice Society, and for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Quesnel.

The holiday season can be a difficult time of year for many families, says Sgt. Clay Kronebusch. “We’re hoping to do our part to help out some of these families in need of assistance.”

If you cannot attend, and wish to make a donation before the event, donations will be accepted at the Quesnel RCMP Detachment, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
