A Quesnel woman says she’s still in shock after winning $200,000 playing scratch and win.
After an exhausting day running errands, Patricia Berston sat down at her kitchen table to play Casino Royale II, a scratch and win game offered by British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), and was in awe when she realized she had won $200,000, according to a news release from the BCLC.
“The first person I told was my husband,” Breston said in the release. “He was pretty excited. I haven’t told anyone else about winning since I still am in shock.”
When asked how she plans to celebrate, Berston said, “I want to stay safe and be safe, so I probably will not celebrate or do anything until it is safe to do so.”
