For the first time since the world learned what COVID-19 was, Baker Creek will once again host salmon, and the Baker Creek Enhancement Society is asking for the public’s help to keep track of how many fish arrive.

The Pink Salmon Patrol is a volunteer initiative for all ages. Participants walk along Baker Creek while watching for and counting the spawning pink salmon.

Supplies for potential volunteers are being left at Bliss Coffee. Volunteers are given a high-visibility vest, a clipboard counting sheet, and are given a sticker and free coffee for their efforts.
