The Rotary Club fashion show at the Occidental in Quesnel is sure to be an entertaining way to raise money for wildfire relief efforts. The fundraiser will be held on Oct. 27 from 7 to 9 p.m.

The community has really stepped up to raise money for wildfire relief after this past summer.

Kathy Somerville of Ricki’s Bootlegger is organizing her second Quesnel Rotary Club fashion show to contribute to wildfire relief efforts. It’s sure to be a high-energy, dazzling display of Quesnel’s local clothing stores.

There are seven different sets scheduled to highlight clothing from Ricki’s, Bootlegger, Mama C’s, Suzanne’s and Willis Harper; so there’s style on a broad spectrum for men and women. Several baskets are being filled with fantastic merchandise and will be available as door prizes as the night unfolds.

Besides the presentation of Quesnel’s fashion possibilities on local models, Gold City Dance is also set to perform; guaranteeing a night of fun and entertainment.

The all ages event takes place on Oct. 27, from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Occidental; a steadfast supporter of community events. They have even built a runway specifically for the show, and Somerville couldn’t be more grateful.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased downstairs at Willis Harper and Ricki’s Bootlegger.
