We just had a 20 year graduation reunion and it was a great event.
It was a beautiful sunny day on Friday August 20th, perfect weather for our 20 year graduation reunion for both QSS and Correlieu Secondary Schools.
Samantha Casey, from Correlieu, and Lauren Allen, from QSS, both took to planning and arranging the event that took place at Ranger Ballpark. The two had been friends ever since Grade 12 when they met during the Miss Quesnel Pageant.
It wasn’t easy as people have kids and adult responsibilities, and COVID restrictions made it difficult to plan out an exact date. We hired a great local DJ, Everett Williams A.K.A. (Dave), with first aid experience, so each person had their temperature checked upon arrival.
Local vendors also came out JenniferToussaint- Robertson from Pure Romance, Kathy Buxton from Avon and Danielle Viher From DragonFox Designs. Graduates from Correlieu included: Robyn Allen, Heather and Holly Armstrong, Laura Barry, Samantha Casey, Shyloe Colebank, Jordan Cook, Joshua Dunn, Melanie Law, Brian Reimer, Rosie Smith, Kyle McNeil, Morgan Wiles, Paul Langiois, Mical Garner, Amber Woodruff. QSS graduates included: Lauren Allen, Shalen Curle, Shannon Goertzen, Gloria Ireland, Graeme Jones, Josh Mackenzie, Angie McMillian, Megan Nielsen, Matt Oakley, Sara Wemyss, Erin Swan, Brandi Lawlor, Darren Swan, Emily Wilson, Dannile Ingram, Lorretta Mighton, Angela Valois.
The event was a huge success and we would like to thank everyone who was able to come out and support.
You never know, there may be a 25 year graduation reunion in the future.
