A new year means a new beginning and to everyone I hope 2013 brings you all the best.
Relay For Life is approaching us! Just want to let all team leaders and members know that Kick Off will be Jan. 24 at The Sandman Hotel at 7 p.m.
This year is all about change, which means we are looking for new volunteers who will bring in new ideas and enthusiasm. We want individuals who see things differently because this is how change begins. This is the push we need to move forward.
This will take time and dedication but I promise you, it will be worth it. Each and every person involved with Relay For Life is helping cancer become a less scarier word. It is through everyone’s efforts that hope is lifted.
Everything is within your reach and there are always possibilities to reach higher and to dream bigger. We are waiting. We hope to see everyone on Relay Day, May 25, to witness change happen.
It takes one moment in time and this is your year to strike, your year to strengthen the cause and fight back. Cancer will not overtake us and this year, this time will be a moment that counts. If you want to find out more, join us at Kick Off Jan. 24 at the Sandman Hotel.
Another reminder for the Annual Daffodil Campaign which starts soon. To order your daffodils and pins, contact our office at 250-992-6551. Businesses can expect to receive order forms in the coming weeks.
When the time comes to do something greater, something beyond your comfort zone, stop thinking and just do it. Make every moment count. Nothing will change if we wait for a “better time” – the world is waiting right now. There is so much to be achieved, and this is your choice, your chance.
