So Wells Historical Society is building one to raise enough money to put in a new furnace, hot water tank and hopefully, paint the Wells Museum.
Buy a brick; receive a tax receipt; have your name on the outhouse. Many of the bricks already purchased are from Quesnel, some as far away as Georgia. Former residents, friends, summer students, businesses and organizations in Wells are buying bricks to support this worthy cause as well.
The mockup of the outhouse is on display at the Visitors’ Centre in Quesnel and bricks can be purchased from that location. Those wishing to purchase bricks may also contact Honey, 250-992-5875 or Carrie, 1-250-994-3243.
