St. Ann’s Catholic School students are finding ways to spread cheer as Christmas approaches.
The school’s Grade 1 class has been busy making 60 Christmas cards for the Better At Home senior citizens’ Christmas party. Better At Home is a United Way program that aims to help seniors with day-to-day tasks so they can continue to live independently for as long as is safely possible. The cards will be distributed to local seniors to celebrate the season.
And St. Ann’s Kindergarten class has been busy collecting socks for residents of Seasons House. The students have brought in a total of 72 pairs of socks to give to Quesnel Shelter & Support Society for their clients.
