Volunteers busy at Quesnel's Good Cheer depot as distribution days draw nearer

Volunteers stack donated canned goods in preparation for distribution through Good Cheer.

As the shelves begin to fill, volunteers at the Good Cheer depot in Maple Park Mall are getting busy but it will take a lot more donations to fill the expected 800 plus hampers. As of Monday, they were more than halfway to last year’s number of 803. Good Cheer coordinator Diane Greenwood said they’re very short on toys this year and all donations are gratefully accepted. To find out how you can help call 250-747-0065 or drop by the depot. Hampers go out Dec. 22 – 23.
