Salvation Army volunteers are out in force until Dec. 24

One of the Salvation Army volunteers, Robert Stefan, left, rang the bells at the Walmart store. One of the many people who took a moment to contribute was five-year-old Mackenna Terry, right, who availed herself of a chair to make sure her donation hit the mark.

The kettles are out around town until Dec. 24 and all the donations collected are used for local programs and services for the needy.
