Volunteer Citizen of the Year nominee Ron Campbell

Ron Campbell is a respected volunteer in the community

Ron Campbell has been busy; his contributions to our community span a great many organizations over a staggering 23-year volunteer history.

Ron’s volunteer efforts include 23 years with the Johnston Neighbourhood Association, 12 years with the Canadian Cancer Society, three years as a School District #28 Board Trustee and a number of volunteer and coaching positions related to his passion for golf.

Ron’s nominator applauds his ability to organize, help and guide the many organizations he has worked with.

Ron was nominated for last year’s award, and has allowed his name to stand for the second year in the Volunteer Citizen of the Year selection.

The 2018 Quesnel Volunteer Citizen of the Year (VCofY) Banquet and Awards Ceremony where the 2017 VCofY is slated for April 18 in the Billy Barker Casino Showroom. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dinner service starts at 6 p.m., and the ceremony is at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 each, available at Quesnel City Hall.
