It’s the season of giving and once again Walmart has partnered with the Salvation Army in Quesnel to bring much needed support to those in need.
Walmart Canada has launched a National program where the Salvation Army will receive a $5 donation for every customer who applies for a Walmart credit card. Year to date, Walmart Canada has donated $165,000 to food banks across the country.
This generous offer of support is another example of Walmart and its associates commitment to the programs and the people the Salvation Army serves.
So far this year Quesnel Walmart has donated $8,000 in food and clothing to the Quesnel Food Bank and Salvation Army. Walmart associates are commited to support those in need and strive to make a difference in the community every day.
With the new Walmart credit card promotion, the Quesnel Walmart has raised more than $600 and is hoping to raise $1,000.
