Winter festival brightens up Quesnel after dark

With fresh snow outside, and free activities inside, many families took part in the annual Boots and Toque Winter Festival event Saturday (Jan. 21).

The event was held at the West Fraser Centre where there was skating, crafts, games, popcorn and more while at LeBourdais Park, there was sledding and sparklers with a marshmallow roast.

This free event took place from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and was sponsored by the city of Quesnel, Cariboo Regional District, Quesnel and District Arts Council, and Fortis BC.
