No Frills is officially open in Quesnel after re-branding from Extra Foods. People waited in line outside early Thursday (Sept. 26) morning to get into the store for the grand opening.
Tobi Weightman is the owner of the store, her name is on the sign outside which reads "Tobi's No Frills." She presented a check to Nourish Food Bank for $2,500 before cutting the ribbon to signal the store is officially open.
It was remarked during the opening that Quesnel's was the last Extra Foods in Western Canada to make the switch to No Frills.
