Barlow Creek Volunteer Fire Department responds to vehicle fire

The BCVFD, RCMP and ambulance attended the scene

Update:

Barlow Creek Volunteer Fire Department (BCVFD) told The Observer in an email statement the driver, a 65 year old, experienced a medical issue while driving and ended up in an empty lot. The vehicle caught fire and bystanders removed the driver from the vehicle.

The driver was treated by BC Ambulance and brought to the hospital while BCVFD extinguished the fire.

The Barlow Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Future Drive Tuesday, March 18.

A single truck was on fire in the middle of an empty lot that appeared to contain recently cut-down trees.
