Cariboo Regional District chair Margo Wagner and vice-chair Melynda Neufeld will serve another year in their positions on the board.
During the regular board meeting Thursday, Nov. 7, both were acclaimed with no other nominations made to replace them.
"It's an honour and a privilege to represent the board at various regional, provincial and federal events," Wagner said after she sat back in her seat to chair the meeting. "It is a privilege I have enjoyed and I am really looking forward to."
Wagner is the director for Area H, which covers Canim Lake and Forest Grove areas.
She has been the chair since 2017.
Neufeld is the director for Area E which covers Esler, Dog Creek Road and South Lakeside and was elected for the first time in October 2022.
Her father Byron Kemp was a long-serving area director.
At this time all regional districts in the province are required to elect a chair and a vice-chair.
