The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) will close Kosta’s Cove Accessible Trail for two weeks beginning Tuesday, July 2 in order to facilitate trail maintenance.
“Preliminary work to maintain and upgrade the facilities at the Kosta’s Cove Accessible Trail is now underway. The trail will be closed to the public for approximately two weeks beginning July 2, as crews perform needed work to the trail and facilities. Improvements will include updates to the low mobility trail, accessible benches, and picnic area,” states a release from the CRD.
Other accessible trails in the region remain open, for a complete list of accessible trails individuals can visit the CRD website at www.cariboord.ca.
The CRD says an updated public notice will be issued regarding Kosta’s Cove Accessible Trail when the maintenance has been completed.
