Man arrested in Quesnel for threatening people with a knife

The 33-year-old man is set to appear before a judge

Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of a man threatening people with a knife July 30.

A 33-year-old man was arrested in Quesnel July 30 at approximately 4:22 p.m. RCMP received a report of the man threatening multiple people with a knife near the 800 block of Front street, an RCMP news release says.

"The 33-year-old man was located and has been arrested," said Sergent Clay Kronebusch in the release.

The man is being held in custody in Quesnel and is set to appear before a judge July 31.
