Truth and reconciliation rally planned for Quesnel

Tuesday evening set for gathering in support of Indigenous understanding

Those in support of area First Nations concerns are holding an evening rally on April 2 in Quesnel.

The event is entitled “For Truth & Reconciliation - Enough Is Enough” and gives recognition to the Lhtako Dene Nation, the Nazko First Nation, the ʔEsdilagh First Nation, and the Lhoosk’uz Dene Nation in the circulated poster.

The organizers specify gathering at the parking lot of the Nazko First Nation office (at 405 Barlow Avenue alongside West Fraser Centre) at 4:30 p.m., with a walk to City Hall set for 5 p.m. then attend the 5:30 meeting of city council.
