All ages in hockey action on Quesnel ice

U18 House tournament and Roos CIHL matchup were weekend highlights

The ice rink was a hot spot of hockey action, this weekend in Quesnel, with minor and senior games all happening.

The Quesnel U18 House Tournament brought six teams to town and put them up against three local teams. First place went to Prince George Green, second place went to Chase and third place went to Prince George Black. Quesnel Blue finished fourth, Quesnel Gold finished 5th and Quesnel Green finished 7th with Williams Lake, 100 Mile House and North Okanagan also in the mix.

On Nov. 11, the Quesnel Kangaroos played the Williams Lake Stampeders in Central Interior Hockey League action. The West Fraser Centre clash ended in a 3-1 victory for Williams Lake.
