British Columbia Rodeo Association releases tentative 2019 schedule

The British Columbia Rodeo Association (BCRA) has released its tentative schedule for 2019, and the bucking begins in late April.

The Williams Lake Indoor Rodeo will kick off the season April 26-28. The first outdoor rodeo is the Keremeos Elks Rodeo May 19-20.

The 54th Quesnel Rodeo will be held July 19-21. Last year, the Quesnel Rodeo, which takes place at Alex Fraser Park and is hosted by the Quesnel Rodeo Club, attracted record crowds and saw approximately 7,000 spectators come through the gates during three days of competition.

Throughout the 2019 BCRA season, rodeos will also be held in Clinton, Kispiox, Chetwynd, Princeton, Fort St. John, Vanderhoof (indoor), Bella Coola, Anahim Lake, Pritchard, Alkali Lake, Redstone, Roe Lake, Chilliwack, Kamloops and Smithers.

The Great West Equipment Wildcard Rodeo will take place Aug. 30, and the BCRA Polaris Championship Finals will be held Aug. 31-Sept. 2 in Barriere.
