The Quesnel Kangaroos are gearing up to get back on the ice.
The senior AA hockey team is holding open tryouts this week, and invites all interested players to take a shot at becoming a Kangaroo.
Tryouts began at the Quesnel Arena this morning and continue Sept. 7 from 9 p.m.; Sept. 12 from 9:30 p.m.; and Sept. 14 from 8 p.m.
Kangaroos representative Waylon L’Heureux said: “If you’re interested in playing, come show us what you have to offer. Hopefully we’ll get a good showing.”
The Quesnel Kangaroos’ first home game against the Terrace River Kings takes place Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Quesnel’s West Fraser Centre.
