The Quesnel Curling Club had its weekly sponsor league matches Wednesday (Nov. 27) at 7 p.m. at the curling club.
Redz Shedz faced Fresno Construction. After taking a 4-1 lead at the halfway point of the match, Redz Shedz stole three in the fifth end. Fresno's draw came up light and with a 7-1 lead the storage folks coasted to a 9-4 victory.
Billy Barker faced Northwind Refrigeration. Billy Baker avenged their loss earlier in the season by taking a 6-0 victory. The Billy Barker team put the game out of reach for Northwind early on.
CDC went up against Fix Auto. The CDC was given an early Christmas present by their opponents as they were lucky to walk away with a 5-2 win.
The sponsor league's teams are named for the different organizations who sponsor them. They play each week on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the curling arena.
