Quesnel Golf Club championship went off without a hitch

Trophies were awarded to men’s, ladies’ and junior winners

Quesnel Golf Club held its annual club championship Sept. 16-17.

About 20 women played in the ladies’ tournament. Patsy Woollends won the low gross trophy and Cheryl Sheldon took home the low net title.

In the junior tournament there were just two competitors. Cole Henderson won the top prize.

Approximately 30 men showed up for the men’s tournament. Wil Beningfield shot an amazing 63 on the first day and 76 on the second. He took home the low gross title. Dan Rosengren won the low net trophy for the weekend.
