After a dominant series win over the Smithers Steelheads in round one of the playoffs, the Quesnel Kangaroos find themselves in a hole.

The first game of their second round series versus Cariboo rivals the Williams Lake Stampeders ended in a 8-4 victory for the Stamps.

On the plus side, it was a sold out crowd at West Fraser Centre, working the game in alongside the ringette schedule and other elements of the Lhtako Quesnel BC Winter Games on at the same time.

The next game in this Central Interior Hockey League matchup happens in Williams Lake on March 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cariboo Memorial Complex.
