It’s expected to be a barn burner at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex Saturday night, March 2.

The Williams Lake Stampeders are set to face off against their rivals, the Quesnel Kangaroos, in Game 2 of the CIHL East Division playoffs, with puck drop at 7:30 p.m.

Last weekend the Stamps won 8-4 in the hotly contested, best-of-three, match-up.

Terrace and Hazelton are currently battling it out in the West Division of the CIHL. The winner of that series will play the winner of the East Division.

The Coy Cup is set to take place this year in Powell River.

Tickets are available at the rink concession prior to the game, online at Eventbrite, and at the door, however, Stampeders president Willy DeVuyst said they are expecting a sold-out crowd.

The Stamps finished second overall in the league, one point behind Terrace.
