The Johnston Bridge Loop has been closed to traffic, as annual flooding closes it. Drivers are no longer able to travel off of Moffat Bridge, over the Quesnel River.

“Southbound traffic can detour through the railway crossing. Northbound traffic will need to detour through Johnston Subdivision and North Star Rd,” a Facebook post from the city reads. “Travelers crossing south, must approach the railway crossing from Legion Drive.”

The city provided a map showing which areas are closed, and which detours to use.
