Awards ceremony recognizes business excellence in Quesnel

The Chamber of Commerce held its annual awards on Saturday, Oct. 23

There were many reasons to celebrate at the Quesnel Seniors’ Centre on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce held its annual Business Excellence Awards with 99 nominees up for recognition for outstanding performance and service to the community.

Winners include:

Business Person of the Year: Anita Slovak

Business of the Year (Over 10 employees): Concord Restorations Ltd.

Business of the Year (Under 10 employee): CF Diesel & Tire

New Business of the Year: For the Love of Dance

Home Based Business Award: CB’s Performance Horses

Community Inclusion Award: North Cariboo Seniors’ Council

Tourism Excellence Award: Cariboo Adventure Media

Agriculture Excellence Award: Alan and Lorraine Sanford

Greatest Improvement: Barkerville Brewing Co.

Social Leadership Award: Aiyana Basi

Environmental Excellence Award: Double H Hay Sales

Customer Service Award: Regan Richert
