City of Quesnel is taking a studied and well thought-out approach to what retailing of recreational marijuana might look like after the federal government introduces in detail what legalization is going to look like across the country.
There have been rumours the Trudeau government might not make its own pot legalization deadline of July 1.
Meanwhile, the City’s Public Safety and Policing Committee - with various stakeholder groups participation - will form a working group on cannabis policy development in preparation for legalization.
