UPDATE: 11:00 am

Black smoke turned to smoldering white smoke, as the 10 Mile and Barlow Creek Fire Departments extinguished a fire just north of the turnoff to Ten Mile Lake Provincial Park.

Around six vehicles, including a bus, and a structure on Dahl Road were in flames in the morning of Monday, Sept. 27. A mobile home on the property did not appear to be damaged by flames.

Both Barlow Creek and Ten Mile Lake tanker trucks were making constant trips to ensure a 4,000 gallon mobile tank was always filled with water.

The Quesnel RCMP also arrived on the scene.

It is not known what caused the fire.
