Grass fire extinguished south of Quesnel

The Quesnel Fire Department was able to contain the fire before it spread far

The Quesnel Fire Department was able to quickly respond to an out-of-control grassfire on Dale Lake Road on Monday, April 25.

Emergency crews were called to the scene south of Quesnel just after 1 p.m., and were able to stop the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.

There appeared to be no injuries in the blaze.
