The Kamloops Storm will play six regular-season games in Quesnel this season in an attempt to showcase the city and its support for future expansion bids. In those games, Kamloops will twice play both the 100 Mile House Wranglers and Osoyoos Coyotes and will play single games against the Kelowna Chiefs and North Okanagan Knights. Quesnel and Williams Lake’s bid to join the KIJHL was rejected earlier this year by league governors . The 2017-2018 KIJHL schedule has not yet been released. For full story see Wednesday’s Observer.
