Maintenance on Quesnel bridges causing disruptions

Temporary adjustments to traffic are needed to keep bridges in shape

Moffat Bridge alternating traffic

The Moffat Bridge will be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic on Monday, September 11 and Wednesday, September 13 from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. each night.

Crews will be performing structural inspections including to the inside of the bridge. Traffic control will be in place. Pedestrians will be able to cross the bridge during this time.

Johnston Bridge closure

The Johnston Bridge will be closed to all vehicle traffic on Tuesday, September 12 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Please detour through Maple Drive or Johnston Ave/North Star Road. Pedestrians will be able to cross the bridge during this time.

Fraser River Footbridge walking interruptions

The Fraser River Footbridge will have inspection equipment on deck on Wednesday, September 13 and Thursday, September 14 from 8 am – 5 pm. Crews plan to keep pedestrian traffic impacts to a minimum. Be mindful of crews, signage and possible closures at times.
