McBride RCMP are seeking help from the public to locate a missing Prince George woman, last seen in McBride and possibly headed to Kamloops.

Tara Ann-Mari Schwab, 30, was last seen on Monday, April 15 at approximately 5 a.m. at the Petro Can in McBride, say Mounties.

“Police and family are concerned for her well being and feel she may be in medical duress. In efforts to locate her, police have found her abandoned car in McBride around 7:30 a.m. the same day, however Tara has not been located.”

Tara Ann-Mari Schwab is described as a Caucasian female five feet tall, 100 pounds with shoulder length brown hair, a tattoo of butterflies and flowers on her leg, bird on her foot, small footprints and a date on her left wrist and “love is blind” on her ribs.

She was last seen wearing a dark hoody with either black Ugg boots or small blue shoes. She was carrying a Petro Canada reusable bag and an over the shoulder bag.

Schwab lives in Prince George but has been in McBride the past three days. Police believe it is possible that she may be trying to hitch-hike to Kamloops.
