More snow is expected to fall in Quesnel.

The region is under yet another snowfall warning. Environment Canada issued the warning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 7.

Between 10 and 15 cm of snow is expected to fall.

“A Pacific frontal system will move across central B.C. Saturday night. Snow at times heavy will begin Saturday afternoon and end overnight Saturday or Sunday morning,” the warning reads.

“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.”

Much of the region has been put under snowfall warnings over the past week.

Environment Canada asks residents to report severe weather by sending an email to BCstrom@ec.gc.ca or tweet using the hashtag #BCStrom.
