The RCMP are hoping to confirm the safety of the woman.

RCMP in Prince George are asking the public if they have any information regarding an event on July 6 around 1 a.m.

A woman who appeared to be in distress on the Cameron Street Bridge was calling out to passing vehicles, an RCMP release notes.

When RCMP arrived to the bridge they could not find any signs of the woman. They are hoping to find out if anyone saw her or gave her a ride away from the bridge that evening. The woman is described as Caucasian, around 5'5" with blonde or light brown hair in a bun.

The release says the RCMP are hoping to ensure the woman's safety and well-being.

They ask anyone with information to call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line at 250-561-3300 and quote file number 2024-21819.
