Quesnel’s vaccine clinic has a new home.

As of Wednesday, Oct. 13, the clinic will be located in the Quesnel Seniors’ Centre.

New hours will come with the change in venue. The clinic will be open Monday – Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Walk-ins are welcome for first, second and third doses, but anyone receiving their third dose must bring proof they are eligible.

The clinic is closed on Oct. 12, to allow staff to move to the new location. Quesnel immunization clinics have been held inside the West Fraser Centre’s meeting rooms and drive-thru clinics at the West Fraser Timber Park.

When vaccine clinics were first announced for Quesnel, the Seniors’ Centre president Doug Service penned a letter advocating for the centre to host Quesnel’s vaccine clinic.
